My artistic practice is strongly influenced by the properties of the materials that I work with.  The essential natures of ceramics and glass are the powerful forces driving my experimental and creative process. The opaque, grounded, and heavy ceramic body opposes the translucent, amorphous and hypnotising matter of glass. I am amazed by the nature of these materials and surprised as an artist to hear my human voice “speak” through them.

This selection strives to capture a state of mind and emotional reactions to experiences that go beyond the borders of normality and routine.  Amorphous, organic shapes expand with efferent outgrowths; glass extensions work to detach bodies from the ground. Insecurity walks with novelty, and a sense of wonder is materialized.
