Streams act as a point of departure for this body of work. Those streams might be in our natural environment or within us, such as the life flowing through our veins. Glass can be a powerful artistic tool, at once indicating movements and simultaneously freezing them in time. Experiments with temperature and chemical compositions of glass aids in this process.
My background in Architecture leads me to see glass as a bridge between our inner personal spaces and feelings, and our natural environment. This division is most clearly illustrated in the skins of glass that cover our buildings. Whether inside or outside, glass is helping me to map topographies of movement and time while exploring my artistic voice.
